der has a long and powerful history in queer culture. Before rainbow flag
 s existed\\, the color quietly symbolized queer identity\\, solidarity\\,
and resistance. It showed up in the fashion of queer circles in the 1940
s and 50s\\, became a coded sign of recognition\\, and later transformed
into a symbol of strength during the “Lavender Scare\\,” when queer p
eople were targeted and fired from U.S. government jobs.\\nToday\\, laven
der stands for resilience\\, creativity\\, and community care. Lavender L
ounge honors that legacy by offering a warm\\, creative space for queer e
xpression — whether you’re a seasoned artist or just experimenting.\\
