soft furnishings and seating.\\nAbout Touch Grass\\nTouch Grass is an ou
tdoor community for queer women\\, trans and non-binary people of colour.
\\nWe are committed to fostering community growth through outdoor gatheri
ngs and wellness-focused trips that encourage us to rekindle our relation
ship with nature. Our immersive experiences go beyond relaxation — they
're about empowerment\\, healing\\, and forging meaningful connections.\\
nOur vision is for queer people of colour to see the outdoors as a space
where we belong. A 2020 report by Friends of the Earth found that nearly
40% of people from minority ethnic backgrounds in England live in the mos
t green space-deprived neighbourhoods\\, compared with only 14% of white
people — and that people from minority ethnic backgrounds are significa
ntly less likely to spend time in the countryside than white people. We w
ant to change this. We deserve joyful\\, safe access to the emotional wel
l-being and physical health benefits of nature too.\\nWe believe creativi
ty and nature go hand in hand\\, which is why most of our events encourag
e you to embrace nature and your inner creative spirit.\\nFor any enquiri
