SUMMARY:One Shot Sunday 🔥 November
DESCRIPTION:One Shot Sunday 🔥 November\\nHosted by Duncan and Ash\\nDu
ncan is a Super Organizer\\nManchester LGBTQIA+ Dungeons & Dragons Meetup
\\nDetails\\nImportant - This event takes place at The Old Monkey.\\nHi R
ainbow Dragons\\,\\nJoin us for our monthly meet-up\\; One Shot Sundays!\
\nGame spaces are allocated on the day and are a first come first served
basis. Spaces at a game are determined by the DM to ensure their game is
balanced.\\nWhether you're new to Dungeons & Dragons\\, an old timer want
ing to try a crazy new character idea\\, a 'forever DM' wanting a break\\
, or fancy trying a new system entirely\\, One Shot Sundays has got you c
 overed. Run for\\, and by\\, Manchester LGBTQIA+ individuals\\, we host t
trpg games designed to start and end in a single session.\\nThere's no co
mmitment to your character or future games\\, just that you’re willing
to try something new. Please be aware our events are only suitable for 18
 +.\\nIf you’re new to Dungeons & Dragons 5e or 5.5e you're more than we
lcome to prepare a level 1 character yourself (we suggest using dndbeyond
.com as it streamlines the process) or come along and grab one of our pre
-made characters.\\nIf you're a little more experienced feel free to brin
g a Level 3 to 6 as we will also be running games at that bracket. All of
ficial content is allowed\\, please use point-buy or standard array for a
bility score generation as well as standard starting equipment.\\nOur D&D
games are mostly using the 5e (2014) edition rules as many of our DMs ar
e still getting used to the 5.5e (2024) rules. If you’ve got a 5.5e cha
racter please check with the DM running the game to see if it’s OK to u
se.\\nYou don't need to bring anything specific\\, but a set of dice and
something to write on (notepad/phones/tablets/small laptops are fine at t
he table) would be great.\\nWe ask for a minimum donation of £3 to take
part in these games Please note we are a community group\\, all profits g
o towards running Meet-Up and Discord costs. Money will be collected on t
he day: cash\\, card\\, or bank transfer is fine.\\nWe do have a communit
y-funds pot for those not able to donate. Please do not let financial iss
ues hold you back\\, prior to the day let an event organiser know (either
on meet-up or Discord) and it will be taken care of :) We'd much rather
have you there than not!\\nThis event is taking place in a working pub\\,
and there are drinks available (no food but ok to bring in snacks or ord
er take out). We will be taking over their function space\\, simply enter
the pub and take the stairs to the right\\, this venue is not wheelchair
accessible.\\nDetails of this event may change.\\nWant more info or look
ing to join in the social side of the group? Join our Discord!\\nWant to
