Capital Pride is Washington DC's annual LGBTQ+ celebration, a week-long festival featuring the Pride Parade through Dupont Circle, the Capital Pride Concert on Pennsylvania Avenue, and dozens of community events. As the nation's capital pride, the event carries unique political resonance — with the White House, Congress and the Supreme Court as backdrop, it is simultaneously a celebration and a political statement.

The parade draws 200,000+ spectators along P Street and 17th Street NW through Dupont Circle, DC's historic gay hub. The free concert on Pennsylvania Avenue regularly features major artists and draws the largest crowd of the festival weekend.
