Manchester Pride takes place every August Bank Holiday weekend in the city's famously vibrant Gay Village around Canal Street. The multi-day festival includes a parade, outdoor concerts on the main stage, and club events running through the night. Manchester has been central to British LGBTQ+ culture since the 1980s, and the pride event carries that history with it.
