Juneau is where you can find the Southeast Alaska lgbtq+Q+ Alliance, known as SEAGLA. SEAGLA has made an impact in advocating for the rights and well being of lgbtq+ families in Alaska by organizing events like film festivals, karaoke nights, kickball leagues and picnics throughout the town. Recently the Pride Foundation provided a grant to SEAGLA to support its initiatives, which officials believe will help broaden its outreach beyond Juneau.
