Magdeburg CSD, also known as Christopher Street Day Magdeburg is a pride event, for the lgbtq+Q+ community that takes place in Magdeburg, the capital city of Saxony Anhalt in Germany. It pays homage to the Stonewall Inn on Christopher Street in New York City, where the historic Stonewall riots occurred in 1969 and sparked the lgbtq+Q+ rights movement.

The Magdeburg CSD typically happens during summer months in June or July. It serves as a celebration of diversity, acceptance and lgbtq+Q+ rights. Every August Saxony-Anhalt´s capital hosts a queer event full of interesting happenings. For over a week there will be great lgbtq+ events for gays, lesbians and friends. Since its premiere CSD Magdeburg enjoys an ever-increasing number of participants and a rising popularity. The highlight of the CSD days is the big demonstration on Saturday. Last year, more than 2500 people demonstrated for tolerance and equality in the city´s vibrant center.
