Kinky Club hosts some of Bologna's biggest queer nights, operating from a large venue in the Via Stalingrado industrial area north of the centre — the part of Bologna that fills with clubs on weekend nights. The club has been running its monthly leather and fetish events since the late 1990s, making it one of the longest-running queer club nights in Emilia-Romagna. The format varies: some months are strictly leather/rubber/uniform; others are broader queer nights with a fetish-friendly section and more mainstream commercial dancing. Peak events draw 300–400 people. The crowd skews older than Cassero (35–55) and is predominantly gay male. Kinky also collaborates with the Cassero for circuit events during Bologna Pride week. The venue has a large main room, a bar section, darkroom facilities and an outdoor area for summer. Entry is via membership (easy to obtain at the door); dress code is enforced on theme nights.
