One of the best new luxury hotels in this area. The Radisson Blu es Hotel Rome ticks all of our boxes, with two rooftop swimming pools (seasonal), modern gym, gourmet restaurant and luxurious spa facilities. The hotel is very centrally located, close to Termini station, with easy access to the Colosseum, shopping area and the main gay scene. My stay at Radisson Blu in Rome was very pleasant and met all my expectations. The biggest highlight was the excellent staff - everyone was kind, friendly, and professional, always ready to help and making the stay truly comfortable. The hotel has a great location, close to the city center, which makes sightseeing very easy. The food was delicious, with high-quality and well-prepared meals, especially the breakfasts. Overall, it’s a very comfortable hotel with a great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it and will surely come back in the future.

My wife and I had been planning our trip to Italy for over a year and decided that the best way to see the country, was by cruise ship and stopping in the cities that we wanted to visit and then taking notes of where we would return to spend more time! We stayed in Venice for a few days prior to getting on our Norwegian Cruise Ship, and then wanted to extend our stay in Rome for 2 nights once the cruise was finished. Norwegian’s choice for us in Rome was the Radisson Blu GHR. We arrived at the Hotel prior to check-in, around 10 am. We were greeted, checked in and told to leave our luggage in a meeting room where it would be safe until our return and when our room was ready. A email would be sent out once the room was ready, which would never be received. With our luggage assuming to be safe, we hopped in the Free Hotel Shuttle, where they dropped us off near the Spanish Steps and then picked us up at the prearranged time. The Shuttle Drivers were there at that time and were helpful in where to go and what to see in the time we had. The trouble started when we arrived back to the hotel and went to get our luggage and found people wandering around the “secure” space where we left the luggage. Then, after being directed to our room by the front desk staff, we were pointed to the direction to find the room ourselves, but most disheartening was when we arrived at our room and opened the door, our Superior Room, it turned out to be a very small room with 2 single beds. While it was laughable at first, what became unexpected was when a Porter opened the door delivering luggage with 2 more people. When we all laughed and then went back to the front desk, we were told that a mix up occurred and we were given the wrong room. How that could happen is unknown, but it did. So we were then given another room, which turned out to be even smaller, with a double bed, which would be barely large enough for us, especially since we had requested a King Bed, but was told, “this is all that is available!” To make matters worse, the room was a handicap accessible room with a large walk in shower, which when used, the rest of the bathroom became a swimming pool drowning in water. Since around the sink there was no place for our toiletrie bags, they were on the floor soaking up all the water. Not a happy place at that moment. When I mentioned that to the Front Desk they said that they would send some extra towels to help soak up the water. On that first night, I had also asked if I could get some ice for our room, and right away the Porter who was near the Front Desk was happy to help and brought me a bag of ice, however, on the second night when I asked for a bag of ice, I was told that none was available but if I wanted to check with the rooftop bar, they may have some available. Service provided? None! I will say, that the service of the Shuttle Drivers and the Breakfast Room Team were extremely helpful to all. The breakfast food was excellent and was plentiful and hot, with healthy selections. The slide show was extremely informative without any audio, it was visually stunning, you could hear in the room, “oh, I want to see that today!” The only thing that I would say is nice at the Front Desk, are those candies that are on the counter, I was there enough and had a few to help soften my delivery of more bad news. Those persons who are the Frontline People are supposed to be the ones welcoming with open arms, not pointing fingers at where to go and what to do. We will be returning to Rome, will it be at your property, probably not!

We stayed here for 3 nights and whilst the hotel was very good it doesn't quite warrant 5 stars in any area. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable but the noise from the road, and from the corridors is too loud. They did change our room from the second floor to the sixth and this eliminated the external problem. The service at breakfast was poor and they actually ran out of crockery - substituting paper cups and also suggesting we used these cups for yoghurt as they had no more bowls. The location is good in that it is right next to a metro station but it does mean you cannot easily walk to any of the sites. Apparently, they do offer a shuttle service to the centre but this is not well advertised and we only found out about it when checking out.

Most worst Radisson stay ever, won’t recommend.. We booked and stayed here for 3 days Room was small to keep 2 suitcases Top sheet(comforter) was not comfortable Room was very dusty Shower head very very dirty ( attaching pictures below) Broken bathroom door and tile Very poor WiFi We tried calling in the reception, nobody answered.. Lifts were very slow Not centrally located, all tourist spots are far by 15-20 mins by drive. Though they had shuttle bus but it’s not advisable Also a very bad experience in their restaurant (Le Roof Restaurant) nobody came for our order for 20 mins though restaurant was not so busy and 4 staffs around, we were ignored, even though we several times asked staff to take our order… but they didn’t turn up, at last we walked away and slept Hungry… Staff were very rude, no greetings... We are been regular user of Radisson property and this one was the most horrible and worst experience. This stay wasted our money and our vacation. After placing the complaint the devil's turned into angels.... But this is not expected from the property like Radisson.... One word: Pathetic

Good hotel with central location. As a RHG employee usually i'm receiving a bit different service and attention, especially when all the details i sent and requested in advance : No amenity, No upgrade, No RR stay which i informed during the check-in and still didn't receive any update regarding the status. Let me wish you all the success. With Regards Gocha Gabunia
