Calgary Pride — Alberta's largest LGBTQ+ celebration, held each September in downtown Calgary. Approximately 60,000 participants and spectators for a parade and festival weekend that reflects the specific character of Calgary's queer community: progressive urban culture in a conservative province, mountain proximity, Stampede heritage, and the cosmopolitan energy of Alberta's largest city.
