Nice's annual LGBTQ+ Pride march along the Côte d'Azur — one of the most visually spectacular Pride events in France, marching through Vieux Nice and along the Promenade des Anglais with the Mediterranean as a backdrop. The march draws 15,000–20,000 participants from across the French Riviera, Monaco and northern Italy. The event is notable for the glamour of its setting and the international character of its attendance — Monaco's proximity brings a distinctly upscale dimension.
