Silicon Valley Pride 2027

Silicon Valley Pride is San Jose's flagship LGBTQ+ celebration and the largest in the South Bay. First held as a gay rights rally in 1975 and known for years as San Jose Pride, it now takes place each August over Labor Day weekend, centered on Plaza de César Chávez in downtown San Jose. The weekend features a Saturday-evening Night Festival and a Sunday parade through downtown followed by a day festival, with multiple music stages, drag performances, community booths and food vendors drawing around 25,000 attendees. A City Hall flag-raising in June marks the start of the wider Pride season, but the festival itself is an August event.
