The Parada da Diversidade de Pernambuco — one of Brazil's largest Pride events, drawing approximately 500,000 participants through the streets of Recife each September. The premier LGBTQ+ Pride celebration of northeastern Brazil, organized by Grupo Arco-Íris Pernambuco with the full cultural depth of Pernambuco's Afro-Brazilian and frevo traditions.
