I’ve visited this beach twice, and both experiences were quite different. On weekends, it gets pretty crowded, but you’ll still be able to find a spot thanks to the wide, open sandy area. When I went during a weekday, it was much more relaxed and peaceful, with fewer people around. The vibe is very chill and respectful, everyone seems to mind their own business. Since it’s a clothing-optional beach, you’ll see some people nude and others not, and it all feels very natural and judgment-free. The island itself is quite large, so I recommend bringing your bike or renting one once you arrive, it’ll make getting around much easier, especially if you’re not up for a long walk. That said, walking is also a great way to take in the beautiful greenery and natural surroundings. Just be mindful of mosquitoes; bringing insect repellent is a good idea. The views from the beach and the island are stunning, and the whole experience feels like a mini escape from the city. To get there, you can enjoy a scenic ferry ride, or if you’re in a hurry to return, consider taking a water taxi for a quicker trip back to the mainland.
Too crowded already and lots of trash. Hopefully they wont build the bridge or else the natural ecosystem will be even more vulnerable to human activity. If you, be respectful and responsible, and do not bring trash and clean after yourself.
What an enjoyable experience. After the sun set, we gathered together for a bonfire, talking and laughing. The water and sand were beautiful. I will always go back🙌🏽
I love being on this beach On a hot sunny afternoon in June, Where there was a heat wave in Toronto. It’s clothing optional, and it was crowded on a Sunday afternoon in June. it was perfect to be away from families. Lots of partying going on. We walked to the centre Island exploring a bit before boarding the ferry From the central Island. It was crowded at 8 PM, Since there were more people on the central Island. We had to wait for 45 minutes to get the ferry
Good spot to watch sunset and swim 🏊♀️ in summer time but unfortunately not for everyone 🙄 other beaches look very rundown and not look after like this one … thanks to o.chaw
