Virginia Beach is a beautiful city and the largest in Virginia. PFLAG Virginia Beach- is the city's local chapter of the national PFLAG organization, which is the largest grassroots organization of its kind in the country. PFLAG is well-known for its mission of supporting LGBTQ people, friends, family, and allies across the country in a wide variety of ways. With 500 chapters and more than 200,000 members in the United States, PFLAG plays a critical and important role in providing advocacy, support, and resources to the LGBTQ community.

LGBTQ Life Center- is a community center that has been working to support, advance, and celebrate the LGBTQ community in the Virginia Beach area for more than 30 years. The Center offers a variety of services including support groups, events, health resources, education and training programs, network opportunities and more.

The Best Events in Virginia Beach

Hampton Roads Pride- is the Virginia Beach area's annual pride celebration. Held in nearby Norfolk's Town Point Park every June since 2011, the festival includes parades, parties, networking opportunities, and more. Hampton Roads Pride also has the only PrideFest Boat Parade in the United States, honoring the area's significant maritime heritage.

The Neptune Festival- is a community-based organization that produces over 40 events in the city throughout the year. Whether you enjoy events on the beach, fun and festivities on the boardwalk, art festivals, concerts, or anything in between, chances are you’ll find an event that you love and will want to participate in during the year!

Sandler Center for the Performing Arts

The Little Theatre of Virginia Beach

Parks and Recreation

Virginia Beach Boardwalk
This three-mile concrete boardwalk has been providing entertainment and beautiful views to Virginia Beach residents and visitors alike for more than a century. The boardwalk is always busy with bicyclists, diners, and beachgoers alike. During the summer, three oceanfront stages also offer nightly entertainment.

Neptune's Park
Neptune’s Park is a popular, grassy, beachfront park known for its frequent live music and fun outdoor events, as well as its large statue of the Roman god Neptune. It’s a perfect spot to enjoy a beautiful Virginia Beach day.
