The primary sauna in Playa del Inglés — sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and private cabins. Laid-back atmosphere, mixed crowd of tourists and regulars. Good afternoon option before the Yumbo Centrum evening circuit begins. Well-maintained and consistently busy during winter season and major events.
Men-Only Resort Facilities
Several of the gay men's resorts in Maspalomas and Playa del Inglés offer day passes to their facilities — pools, hot tubs, sun decks, and some with sauna access. These serve a similar function to standalone saunas but in a more open, resort environment:
- Ritual Maspalomas — pool, terrace, bar; day access available
- Paso Chico Bungalows — clothing-optional pool, bar, social terrace
- Winter (November–March) — the primary season; Northern Europeans fill the resorts while escaping the cold. Temperatures stay 18–23°C.
- Maspalomas Pride (May) — one of the larger European Pride events; the island's gay infrastructure is stretched to capacity
- Carnival (February/March) — the city's own big celebration; costume parties and beach events
The Broader Scene
The Yumbo Centrum in Playa del Inglés is the hub — a shopping centre by day that transforms into a multi-level gay venue complex at night. The Darkroom Bar runs cruise nights with underwear and fetish themes. The Hole in the Cita Shopping Center offers darkrooms and private cabins with themed events.
