The International Bear Rendezvous is Vancouver's annual bear event — a weekend in April bringing the bear community together for social events, parties, and the gathering that the West End's bear-friendly atmosphere naturally supports. The event draws visitors from across Western Canada, the Pacific Northwest, and internationally, and is one of the social highlights of Vancouver's LGBTQ+ calendar outside of Pride season.
