Kiss Club is one of the ilha's most popular nightlife destinations — the sand spit off Luanda's coast that concentrates the city's restaurant, bar, and beach club scene for the young affluent class. The crowd is young, wealthy, internationally educated in many cases, and more socially liberal than the Luanda average — the kind of environment where LGBTQ+ socializing happens without explicit identification or incident. The club operates as a bar and dance venue with DJs most weekends; the Angolan kuduro and Afrohouse music is excellent. Not a gay venue, not gay-marketed, but cited by Luanda's small LGBTQ+ social network as one of the more comfortable options in the city for an evening out. Arrive after midnight for the best atmosphere.
