Antwerp Pride ist das größte LGBTQ+-Pride-Event im niederländischsprachigen Raum und zieht jeden August über 100.000 Menschen in die zweite Stadt Belgiens. Die Pride-Parade schlängelt sich durchs spektakuläre Zentrum — Liebfrauenkathedrale, Grote Markt, historisches Hafenviertel — und schafft eines der visuell beeindruckendsten Pride-Events Europas in einer der schönsten Städte Europas. Das Pride-Wochenende umfasst ein Open-Air-Pride-Village mit Live-Auftritten, zahlreiche Partys in Gay-Bars und Clubs sowie das Antwerp Queer Arts Festival mit Ausstellungen und Kulturveranstaltungen parallel zur Pride. Antwerpens kompaktes, fußläufiges Zentrum ist ideal für die Outdoor-Kultur des Events. Belgiens Status als zweites Land der Welt mit der Ehe für alle (2003) verleiht dem Event besondere Resonanz.
