Oswego Hotel

I would give 100 stars if I could! This is my third stay at this hotel, and I will always book this for my Victoria work travel. The hotel is unique in that the rooms are more like apartment suites. I've stayed in a 2 bedroom and also a 1 bedroom. The suites have kitchens, living areas and awesome local amenities. The beds are SO COMFY, the rooms are super clean and updated. Nothing about the hotel is outdated or old feeling/looking. The lobby is nicely done, including a bar and restaurant. Overall, awesome facility in a great location. On my most recent visit, I got super ill and the staff was amazing. They helped me coordinate medical help, food delivery and extend my stay. The team personally assisted me getting my belongings from one room to another. Their commercials talk about their service being a key differentiator, and they truly delivered on this promise. They went above and beyond to make sure I was safe and comfortable for my unexpected extended stay. It's rare to find facilities and people that hold a high standard, but this hotel and this team have accomplished the mission. Thank you for your kindness and also for providing me with a new "home" while traveling to the island!

This is a 10-story boutique hotel in a quiet neighborhood that is just barely inland from the Victoria inner harbor. The higher floors have spectacular views of the harbor and the Olympic Peninsula mountains. Decently appointed rooms, wonderful service, and a small but solid restaurant and lively bar on the main floor. Nightly rates are usually very competitive compared to comparable hotels closer to the harbor. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back!

We stayed Dec 6th in a rooftop suite and were very impressed with this boutique hotel. Parking was easy, and the front desk staff and manager went above and beyond with friendliness and attention to our requests. The hotel is gorgeously decorated and the room was beautiful with an amazing view. We enjoyed amazing food from the Aegir room for dinner and breakfast. Jason was extremely knowledgeable and attentive. Can't wait to visit again.

Our stay at the Oswego Hotel commenced for an entire week of the holiday season. Comfortable in our two-bedroom suite, with a kitchen, all its amenities and a scenic view. Autumn and the front desk staff were friendly and attentive. Parking was easy, with the hotel location perfect to enjoy Christmas events. We shared many a delicious meal at the Aegir restaurant with our family who were residing in other suites at the hotel. A most pleasant experience, we will certainly recommend to our friends and family to reserve a spot at the Oswego Hotel when next in beautiful Victoria. Ed & Heather

A hidden gem in Victoria James Bay area. I am writing about the restaurant in the hotel. This is a delightful place, which feels like your own living room. It’s dog friendly for the lobby area, but you can order food and enjoy it on their lovely couches. They have dog beds and dishes to give your furry friend water. The service is top notch, meaning efficient, attentive and very focused on meeting your needs. The food on the menu is varied and reasonable. Two of us had the jumbo shrimp with greens and garlic toast. I asked for gluten free bread and no problem with that request. I love this place as it has a very laid back and yet upscale vibe. There are board games if you would like to do that on a rainy day or evening. My friend who frequents this place a lot says that the coffee and breakfast is very good. Hard to find a good cup of coffee outside of a good coffee shop but she assures me the coffee tastes top tier. Well done Oswego. I don’t know what the rooms are like but if the restaurant is any indication, it will be A One! One of my favourite places to go in Victoria!
