We stayed here for 3 nights, and I was pleasantly surprised with the lovely lobby, with a breakfast restaurant (Lloyd's Diner) and pub (Heckler's Comedy Club - which had amazing food) attached, along with a separately owned liquor store at the far end of the building. There was a really neat games room (table tennis, massive big screen, snacks), and a small fitness room and outside pool (not in use for our winter stay). The location is great, along with access to bikes included. All of the guests that we encountered were also great - all ages, respectful, friendly. What made this stay a 5/5 for us was the staff. Fatemeh was at the front desk most of our stay, and she had answers to everything and quickly accommodated us when we had to extend our stay on short notice. Another couple at the hotel had also shared their enjoyment of her. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the housekeeeping crew were friendly and did a wonderful job. While there, we experienced a brutal wind storm which knocked out power across several areas in town. The massive winds made our patio door rattle, and their fantastic maintenance guy, Hamid, fixed it while we were out for a couple hours. I originally thought there was no way the door could be fixed without being replaced, but he managed to do so! He was so kind and efficient, and you would never know that he had done such a major "repair" job in such a short time. We can't wait to come back, particularly thanks to Fatemah and Hamid.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – Great stay! We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and had a very comfortable experience overall. The hotel was clean, modern, and well maintained. There were plenty of recreation options including a pool table, relaxing sitting areas, a working or office-style space, and a very nice lobby. The on-site restaurant was also great, and they offer 10% off for all customers using the restaurant, which was a nice bonus 😊 The rooms were awesome, very clean, and well designed. The bathrooms were modern and fancy. Staff service was truly 5/5 ⭐️. We called once for an extra blanket, and within seconds the staff arrived at our room. Very quick, professional, and friendly service! All staff members were welcoming and helpful. A special thanks to Fatemeh at the front desk in the morning. She was super friendly, polite, and made the checkout process smooth and easy 🌸 One small thing worth mentioning is the bathroom sliding door design. The door and wall have a small gap, so when someone is using the shower or toilet, visibility from the room is possible, which may affect privacy for some guests. This seems to be more of a design choice rather than a cleanliness or maintenance issue. Overall, this did not impact our experience much, and everything else was excellent 👍✨ Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again!

Wow, just wow. I usually don’t write reviews, but this place deserves it. The hotel, formerly a Ramada, has been beautifully renovated. The rooms were decent (7/10), but what really made the stay special was the staff. A huge shoutout to Sushant at the front desk. He went above and beyond with cab bookings, restaurant tips, and honest advice about the area. As someone from Alberta , it’s rare to meet someone who genuinely cares like he does. The hotel is budget-friendly and great value for money. You might not get luxury, but you get solid service and genuinely good people. My wife and I travel a lot along the coast, and this hotel and its staff really stood out. Can’t wait to visit again!

Nice small hotel. The pictures look slightly better than the property at first glance, but overall we really enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and appeared recently renovated. Fatemeh at the front desk in the morning was very nice, polite, and pleasant. The night staff member was also helpful and professional. They have a guest lounge with a massive big screen TV, table tennis, football, board games, and books, which was a great bonus and added to the experience. One concern: there is a privacy issue in the washroom of Room 220. The sliding bathroom door does not close properly and does not fit well, which affects privacy. Because of this, I am reducing one star. Overall, it is a good place to stay, and I hope the management looks into fixing the washroom door issue.

This was a mixed stay overall. At check-in, I noticed police in the parking lot and asked the front desk about secured parking. I was told there was none and that they “can’t control what happens on site as it’s a free world” (what?) which made it difficult to feel at ease from the start. I’m also a Choice Rewards member and wasn’t acknowledged or recognized at check-in or check-out. The suites themselves were fine and the beds were comfortable. However, on our second night the guests directly across from me were extremely disruptive, yelling and using profanity - there was some sort of internal disagreement between the group of men. I spoke with the front desk and, due to traveling with my dog, there were limited options to move rooms. To their credit, staff did speak with the guests and their employer (they were there for work), and the situation eventually calmed down. It honestly ruined the entire stay and I felt so unsafe being there. I know it wasn’t the hotels fault but I would have appreciated some sort of recognition or compensation being directly across from this situation which was quite extreme and unsettling. Noise continued to be an issue, with people coming and going in the halls late at night and construction during the day. I was also uncomfortable that side entrances do not require key card access, allowing anyone to enter the building. With a high number of transient guests and visitors, this contributed to not feeling particularly secure. At checkout, Fatemeh was very helpful in providing a customized invoice, which I appreciated. Overall, not a great option for a work stay. If you’re out most of the day and just need a place to sleep, it’s acceptable for the price.
