Eagle View Lodge

Stayed at the penthouse for a few days. Great views, great food, and excellent service. Will return!

My wife and I stayed there for 2 weeks while exploring the city and the country. We really had a great time and the customer service is great. The view is definitely eagle 🦅 from the restaurant to the entire city of Kigali specially at night. Their morning breakfast is delicious 😋 and the entire kitchen is good. Coming from the US where the food tastes different. In Kigali everything is from the farm to the table and 100% organic. I will definitely come back next time I'm in Town. A cozy atmosphere, magnificent decor, panoramic views, and refined cuisine... Pure bliss!

Eagle View Lodge is a bit of a mixed experience. The view is absolutely beautiful - you really can’t complain about that. But the rooms we got didn’t quite match our expectations, and some of them were missing pretty basic things you’d normally expect in a hotel room. Dinner was another small adventure. We waited about an hour and a half for our food, which felt pretty long after a full day. The good news is that when the dishes finally arrived, they were actually very tasty. So overall: amazing view, decent food (if you’re very patient), but the rooms could definitely use some improvement.

Fantastic view and nice staff. What was not so good that there were Moskitos in the room and that there was space in moskito net. Bed little bit hard. Breakfast and view was excellent. Location little bit far from city center.

We LOVED our stay at Eagle View and will definitely be back! The staff are amazing and incredibly helpful. The rooms clean and very comfortable, and the restaurant wonderful. Their hotel/restaurant combo makes them also very familiar with foreigners so all the food, ice, veggies etc were safe. I’d also recommend to get the massage!
