A small and very cute hotel, exceptionally clean and well maintained. We had a very comfortable stay, and the breakfast was excellent with great quality and variety. Overall, a pleasant and relaxing experience—would definitely recommend this place.

Our stay was absolutely amazing! The staff were the kindest and most welcoming people we could have wished for. We truly felt taken care of every moment. Highly recommended!

Very friendly staff in a quiet location in Franschhoek.

Saide is amazing. This is our second time at the Lab in a different location and I now I wish there were more of them around. The hospitality, boutique experience, facilities and all around experience is exquisite.

A true hidden gem. Photos don’t do justice to the warmth and luxury. High tech devices subtly added, Staff were absolutely exceptional, with Saidy being the most respectful human I’ve come across. It’s also refreshing to know they are pet friendly

Very nice place and peaceful

Absolutely loved this place!! Candice is a great host and everything was spectacular. From the location to the breakfast to the rooms, was a great experience overall!!

I think making a list of what we didn't enjoy would be shorter than telling everyone about how amazing this place is! My husband and I decided for our first family vacation we'd go to Franschhoek and wherever we stayed had to be pet friendly for our 2 cats. We accidentally found the hidden away gem that is theLAB BLUE. From the moment we got there Ayakha was so friendly and welcoming, our room was gorgeous and everything was high tech but easy to use. We absolutely loved the bar, the cosy lounging area with the fire place (which we would have loved to use!) and the beautiful garden scenery that surrounds the beauty of this guesthouse. They have a pool but in this chilly weather the thing that had me excited was the jacuzzi. Something about sitting outside while watching the stars in a jacuzzi, with a glass of wine, really makes it feel like a vacation Candice and the team are doing an amazing job and have made our first vacation a dream come true, even better than we would have ever imagined. They are so lovely and accommodating and don't even get me started on the breakfast that the lovely ladies in the kitchen make every morning. We will definitely be telling everyone about this gem!

Stayed here for a couple of nights in February. The rooms were spotless and the beds were very comfortable. A 10 minute leisurely stroll to the centre of town. Breakfast was excellent and staff were very friendly. Would recommend the Lab Blue
