Knysna Lakeside

Clean, cozy, and very friendly people♡

The simple addition of a good fan in each room would have allowed us a good sleep. We found the rooms clean neat and comfortable. Please add the fans and let us know, then we can return. There was one pathetic fan for two rooms

Stayed over at Knysna lakeside guesthouse to break away from the city life and to do a bit of fishing in the lagoon. Definitely got the lakeside house feeling and the self catering unit has a great view of the Knysna heads and lagoon. This is a basic unit and has everything a self catering unit should have including a couple of complementary items that not all places have such as fresh towels, coffee, tea, sugar, hand wash, shower gel, wifi and cleaning service. The welcome was very warm and friendly and this was the same throughout our 4day stay. It's perfectly situated on the main road and opposite the main fishing spots so not only good for a fishing stay but also family stays as you are within walking distance of all the main shops, Thesen island, Knysna quays and many other attractions are within close walking/driving proximity.

Stunning room. A bit to close to the N2 for some, but by the 2nd night you could have driven a fleet of tanks down that road and I would not have noticed. Unbeatable view and I was able to park right outside my front door of the room. One or two things that kept it from that 5th star, but I would request that room when I return to Knysna, in a heartbeat.

Cosy sleepover destination. Number 1 address in Knysna. Too affordable. You will wonder why it is so cheap.

Some places are just perfect for a last minute holiday. Well done to staff checking up everyday, making sure everything is sorted. Perfect location to walk of the dinner meal in a safe neighbourhood. Very secure and off street parking. Love the vibe!! Thank you Andre.

André was a very friendly host and always available. We were booked in front with a logoon view, but because of the noise of vehicles we asked to move. He gave us emmediately a bigger place at the back. There were everything we need. I love the fan and panel heater and the TV that can move from the kitchen to the bedroom. And I also love the handles in the inside and outside of the shower door. That was a very big bonus for elderly people to shower. Thanks André and all you friendly and helpful people.
