Hotel Chanakya

Hotel Chanakya is a long-running mid-range hotel on Beer Chand Patel Marg, the road lined with government offices west of Patna Junction. Listings date the six-floor building to 1981 with a 2012 renovation and give 112 rooms and six meeting rooms, so it's often full of conferences and official visitors. It's about a kilometre from the station and under 4 km from the airport. The official site wasn't responding when we checked in October 2026. Bihar is a dry state, so there's no alcohol. Mainstream hotel, not a gay venue.
