Хэйан Инн

"Heian" means peace in English. This is a place for price-sensitive people who want peace of mind. It has all the necessities a traveler needs, a kitchen, working shower, a bed and somewhere to put away your stuff. It is pretty barebones but gets the job done for a cash-strapped tourist. Convenience stores, laundry, subway station are no more than 7 min walk away. Try visiting the Monjayaki street close by too. Please note that you WILL be disappointed if you want a luxury experience in Japan, get a hotel instead.

The hostess was very friendly and attentive. The room was tidy, but there was a bad smell due to a broken drain under the sink. Everything was quite old and rather garishly decorated with plywood. There was only one kitchen on the ground floor, but everything you need was there. However, any inconveniences were offset by the excellent location for both Disneyland and central Tokyo. The building itself is in a quiet area, and nearby there is a pleasant park area near a school, a McDonald's, and a street lined with traditional monja (monjayaki) food stalls.

It's a 1-minute walk from the subway exit, and two lines are available, making it very convenient. The room is small, but clean and comfortable.

Comfortable beds, and excellent access to Tokyo from a convenient location.
