Overall, it's very good, I recommend it.

Super high value for money! Backpackers hostels can be this amazing!

Since the owner and staff have changed, the prices have become extremely high. The cleaning is inadequate and the management is sloppy. Please bring things back to the way they used to be as soon as possible.

Recently, the staff changed, but the ventilation in the room smelled bad, and the staff member with glasses provided terrible service. The toilets were also dirty. It used to be good, so I wonder what happened?

Hostel Adonis is an interesting accommodation option in Tokyo. The building itself has thoughtful architectural details — steel doors and large glass panels on the façade — very Japanese but most people might not notice unless they’re in the industry. It’s located in a quiet but slightly upmarket neighbourhood with several designer furniture stores nearby. The staff who received me was pleasant, and very friendly. I also liked that they have a separate bright room where guests can eat or pack their luggage without disturbing those who are sleeping. Definitely had an interesting time staying here!

Too expensive. There are microwave but NO glass ，No dish and no water drink.

When I made the reservation, I was told, "If you arrive after 10 PM without prior notice, an additional late-night fee will be charged. If you fail to check in by midnight, your reservation will be automatically canceled. Thank you for your understanding." So, I contacted them the day before to say I would arrive around 11 PM, and they replied, "A cover fee will be charged after 10 PM." This was completely different from what they initially told me, so I canceled. It looks like I'll have to pay the full amount, but I don't want to stay at a hotel that lies. I'll just accept it as a learning experience, costing a few thousand yen.

It was a great experience and I would like to come back. The owner and staff are very welcoming and I met many new friends from all over the world. The Thai restaurant downstairs is super delicious😋

I rarely write such long reviews online. Firstly, I hadn't stayed there before. After booking, I wanted to inquire about the deposit. Although I felt my wording was fine, the hotel staff (probably Taiwanese) seemed a little impatient. Later, due to a change in my travel plans, I cancelled the booking. While I was feeling anxious about whether I needed to rebook, I received the following email from the hotel 😂. Being replied to like this for inquiring about the deposit was quite shocking. Reviews say the staff are friendly, which I believe is true, but I doubt they would treat people from mainland China like this. So, if you're from mainland China, I suggest you think carefully before booking.
