le coeur (ル・クール)

le coeur (ル・クール) is a small gay bar in the No.6 G Building, the eight-storey block on Minami 6-jō Nishi 6 that holds the densest cluster of Sapporo's gay bars. It seats a handful of guests at the counter and draws a friendly mix of regulars aged roughly 20s to 50s. Like most Susukino gay bars it is intimate and conversation-led rather than a dance venue, and the bartender welcomes newcomers, including visitors.
