le coeur (ル・クール) is a small gay bar on the 2nd floor of the No.6 G Building (第6Gビル) at Minami 6-jō Nishi 6 in Susukino. This multi-storey block holds most of Sapporo's gay bars. Like most Japanese gay bars it is a counter bar with only a handful of seats, where the main activity is conversation with the master and the regulars. There is no dancing. It has a 4.9 Google rating from 13 reviews, and newcomers, including foreign visitors, are reportedly treated well. Expect a seating or table charge, which is standard in Susukino bars. Some English helps, but it is not guaranteed.

Similar to the Taipei Matt Punch style, but without karaoke. The owner is a cute uncle who speaks a little English. Another staff member is very enthusiastic and keeps asking if you're a top or bottom 😆

The owner is lovely, speaks some English, and takes great care of every customer. The beer is also delicious! It's a fantastic place to spend a night; highly recommended!
