Burnett Foundation Aotearoa

Burnett Foundation Aotearoa is New Zealand's main HIV-prevention and sexual-health organisation. It was the New Zealand AIDS Foundation until 2022, when it was renamed after activist Bruce Burnett. From its Auckland base at 31 Hargreaves Street in St Marys Bay, it offers free rapid HIV and STI testing, counselling, condoms and community programmes. It also runs the Big Gay Out, a free rainbow festival held in February at Coyle Park in Point Chevalier. Testing is by appointment or at set clinic times, so check the website or book online before going.
