Riverlodge Motel Nelson

Our room was upsetting. It was dirty and old, kitchen cupboards didn’t close inside cupboard were dirty. There was no shampoo or shower gel in the shower. We were upgraded, hate to think what the other room was like. And at $205 night what a rip off.

Very comfortable bed, staff welcoming and helpful, room serviced every day thank you. Handy to town and supermarket easy walk. TV often would only work for 10 mins then drop out- presume it needs more capacity of the WiFi. But I enjoyed my stay thank you very much

We were a group of 5 staying either night of our Abel Tasman trip. Yuki was lovely and also provided a shuttle from the airport. Easy walk into town for food etc. Quiet room with comfy beds! Excellent value for money.

Stayed for 2 nights in apartment. Location was fantastic as was parking. Apartment had everything you needed and beds were very good. Wifi could be iffy but not a deal breaker. Enjoyed our stay.

Rooms were very clean, the staff very friendly and accommodating. They moved my sister and I from a double bed room to a family for our second night. Central location so easy to walk around.

The rooms are a bit older and worn, but good location and very helpful staff. Price was also fair, so I can recommend it.

Stayed for 3 nights. The room we had was private, spacious, airy and bright. The bed was comfortable and as a couple we found it a good size, and we did NOT roll together which was a bonus. It was clean and comfortable and everything we needed was provided. The location was perfect for exploring the town center on foot, and staff lent us bikes for exploring a bit further around town. The staff were the real highlight of our stay They are considerate, kind, helpful and cheerful. They made our stay feel special and were a highlight of our trip. Thank you Riverlodge! You are fantastic!

I and my family enjoyed our stay. Kids were happy and the location was perfect. We booked last minute and Yuki was exceptional. I will stay again. I recommend.

Really comfortable lodge, excellent communication, helpful staff, clean, quiet and not far from the centre of town. Nice got shower! The lodge is older but you can see there has been a lot of work to update it (& this appears to be ongoing). 5 of us stayed in the 2-bed apartment and we're very happy with our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. Yukie accommodated our early check in request which we were truly grateful for. Rooms are neat, tidy and spacious. Thanks for making our stay in Nelson memorable!

Great customer service and friendly staff, Yukie was great and very accommodating. Best of all, Riverlodge are dog friendly! This allowed us easy access to Nelson CBD with a furry friend for our Tasman holiday. Many thanks :)
