The smell of smoke is so strong, I almost threw up.

My first time visiting Yoshinoyama, I honestly thought it would be an izakaya or some kind of Japanese restaurant, but as soon as I walked in, I was immediately drawn in by the J-POP music and cheerful atmosphere 🤣 The whole place was very chill; it didn't feel like a nightclub, but more like a "living room with singing" vibe. You could sit, drink, chat, and sing, and the atmosphere would gradually build up. The PR and staff were all very friendly and helpful, offering song requests, striking up conversations, and creating a lively atmosphere, but without being overly clingy or uncomfortable. Drinks come with free snacks, karaoke is free, and I sang seven songs that night and even got compliments on how my voice sounded like so-and-so (I just didn't quite crack my voice properly...). However, there are a few minor drawbacks: – The song list is heavily J-Pop, so if you prefer Chinese songs or oldies, you'll need to prepare your own repertoire, otherwise you'll be bombarded with idol group songs. – It gets really crowded on weekends; if you arrive late, you'll basically have to stand or wait for a seat. – Some people say there's a slight discrepancy at the end of the bill, so it's advisable to keep track of how many drinks you had. But overall, I highly recommend it! The atmosphere is more relaxed than a nightclub, less awkward than a karaoke bar, and more communicative than a typical bar. It's the kind of place where you'll start making plans with friends to come back again and again after just one visit.

I went to Yoshinoyama on the evening of April 12th, but a staff member named Chili repeatedly sexually harassed me by touching my genitals when I wasn't looking. It seems this wasn't the first time she'd done this to a customer. I hope the restaurant will seriously address this issue. I was wearing a red top and gray shorts; the restaurant can verify this with other staff members from that day.
