Mercure Tirana

I had a wonderful stay at your hotel. Everything was excellent, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The rooms were comfortable, the service was great, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. The rooftop pool is absolutely stunning and truly unforgettable. Thank you for making my stay so enjoyable.

A great hotel for a stay in Tirana with a rooftop pool; just keep in mind that it is located about 3 km outside the city center and on a busy main road. However, it is easily accessible by bus (one way, €0.40) and taxi (return, €6).

Modern hotel, friendly and helpful staff

The hotel is very good and clean. Easy to reach from the airport as a first stop. Pay extra for the junior suite.-It is worth it. We enjoyed the breakfast with 5 star service from Valona. Good English speakers. It is not necessary but always helps. Nice small pool area with the views on top of the hotel. This is not Ritz or Hilton style. It is small and very welcoming with a friendly atmosphere. Top 4 star hotel.

Very disappointing experience! The interaction began when I received a call that my food delivery had arrived. I asked whether it could be brought to my room since I was in the middle of something. I was told no one was available, which was perfectly fine, and I said I would come down shortly. However when I arrived, the staff member repeatedly questioned whether I was the only person staying in my room. After I answered multiple times that I was traveling alone, she continued asking, "Are you sure?" in a way that felt accusatory and disrespectful. Being asked once is understandable (perhaps it's standard procedure here), but being repeatedly treated as if I was lying was not. I had to ask her 3 times to please give me my food to even get it. That’s how adamant she was with trying to get me to admit something that was not true. I also had a poor experience with the bartender after checkin, who acted as though serving me was an inconvenience. The only reason I'm not giving an even harsher review is because the woman who checked me in was friendly and professional. Unfortunately, the customer service I received afterward completely overshadowed that positive interaction. I would not choose this hotel again.

Fine hotel, but located next to a highway (however, no traffic noise, because: good insulation). You do need a taxi to get to the center of Tirana.
