Volksgarten Salzburg

Volksgarten is a public park on the right bank of the Salzach, a short walk from Salzburg's old town, and older Austrian cruising guides list it as the city's outdoor meeting area after dark. It appears here for that history, not as a recommendation. Same-sex relations are legal in Austria and cruising itself is not an offence, but sexual acts in public can be prosecuted (§218 StGB) and parks are patrolled.
