Hotel Navarra Brugge

Hotel Navarra is a fantastic hotel. I stayed for business and the facilities were perfect. I will return as a tourist and I am sure it will be equally as excellent. The location is great (not that far from the main square, so with the benefit of being a bit quieter but still very walkable). The staff and service are superb- friendly, approachable and so accomodating in any request. And the room (double room with city view) was spacious, well equipped and clean. Plus the beds were so comfortable, which is a real bonus! Thank you to all staff at the Hotel and do consider staying here if you want a decent place to stay when visiting Bruges/Bruges.

The hotel is in a fantastic central location. The staff is very friendly. The hotel is quiet. Breakfast is simple but adequate. The spa area is small but okay. The pool water is very cold. It doesn't even come close to the advertised 28.5 degrees Celsius. There was a constant creaking noise at night; after some investigation, it turned out to be the bathroom door, which was being moved by the exhaust fan and the air conditioning.

Upon arrival, make sure you have a room in the hotel. Despite booking several months in advance, we were given a room in a different building, on the second floor, with no elevator and a very narrow staircase. The bathroom was tiny and bore no resemblance to the photos on their website. We were very disappointed with this room.

I've put together a balanced review for you, incorporating both praise and the criticism regarding breakfast: We couldn't have wished for a better location for our stay in Bruges. The hotel is wonderfully central yet pleasantly quiet, situated in a small courtyard, so you hardly notice the hustle and bustle of the city. That's exactly what we loved. We were able to park our car right at the hotel and didn't even need to use it once during our entire stay, as everything was easily accessible on foot. It's simply ideal for exploring Bruges. Our room was spacious, modernly furnished, and overall we were very satisfied. The view from the room was also lovely and made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel has a charming, small, and personal character, which suits Bruges perfectly. We also had particularly positive memories of the staff, who were consistently friendly, helpful, and very pleasant. Unfortunately, we were less impressed with the breakfast. The selection was rather small and limited. In our case, the bread was moldy, which of course shouldn't happen. After we brought this up, the staff reacted immediately, removing the bread and, to be fair, removing the breakfast charge from our bill. We appreciated this very positive and professional handling of the situation. Nevertheless, we decided to eat breakfast elsewhere for the remaining days. Overall, we still had a very pleasant stay. The excellent location, the peaceful atmosphere, the lovely rooms, and the friendly staff make this hotel highly recommendable.

Perfect hotel with outstanding service, fantastic location (it couldn't be more central in the city center), amazing breakfast, and friendly reception staff; all praise! You feel right at home immediately.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and can absolutely recommend this hotel. The location is ideal, quietly situated on a side street yet very central. The room was pleasantly spacious, the bed comfortable and roomy, and the entire property made a very high-quality impression. We would particularly like to highlight the exceptional friendliness of the staff. We felt welcome from the very first moment. The cleanliness was also impressive: everything was immaculately maintained, right down to the smallest detail. Another plus is the fitness area, sauna, and swimming pool, which could be used free of charge. The breakfast was also very good, with a nice selection of pastries, a classic English breakfast, and even sparkling wine. Overall, we felt truly at home here and would return anytime.

The perfect city hotel – no matter how you judge it. I was there with a group (around 20 guests), and the booking process alone was a dream: competent, professional, quick, and even accommodating! They thought of everything (including a permit for our tour bus). The welcome was friendly and appreciative, and everything was perfectly organized. Not only the location (2 minutes from the Grand Place), but also the friendliness and competence of the reception staff are exemplary. The rooms are spacious and beautiful, with fantastic bathrooms (many, perhaps all?) with windows (unusual these days). The breakfast – served by a super-efficient and incredibly friendly team – leaves nothing to be desired. The bartender (during our stay) was outstanding (I've rarely encountered such a professional), and the housekeeping staff were smartly dressed, incredibly friendly, and attentive. The hotel's architecture is a feast for the eyes. I work professionally in tourism and travel a lot – and I must say: city hotels like this (the Navarra is privately run, to my knowledge) have become a rarity! Many thanks and a huge compliment!
