Isa Begov Hamam i Hotel

Hotel and historical site at the same time, the staff were great, the hammam is definitely worth relaxing in, I was only supposed to stay one night, I extended the whole stay.

Stayed between 6/04/26 - 11/04/26 Via Booking.com Lovely Hotel. Everything was walking distance. Staff from Reception to Kitchen Staff was very friendly and helpful and made us welcome. Helped us a lot with questions we need help with mainly finding stuff in the local area. Breakfast was so different and wonderful. Really enjoyed the food. Room was also really nice. Hopefully will make another visit soon. Thank you for everything

We were a group of seven and stayed at the Isa Begov Hotel for three nights, and we were thrilled! Even months before our arrival, Söner's organization was outstanding – always available, incredibly helpful, and dedicated to fulfilling our wishes. A very special thank you also goes to Adna, who looked after us with such warmth and attention. The entire team was consistently friendly, professional, and accommodating. The hotel's location right next to the old town is perfect for exploring Sarajevo. We were particularly impressed by the combination of historical architecture and modern, stylish comfort. Everything was absolutely clean and well-maintained. We felt completely at ease and are already looking forward to returning. A heartfelt recommendation! ❤️

As a man, I wanted to go to the hammam on Sunday at 3 pm because I had read somewhere that women are allowed in until 2 pm and men after 2 pm. Unfortunately, it's exactly the opposite on weekends. It would be nice if this were indicated somewhere.

Great stay in Isa Beg's hammam! The ambience is wonderful, authentic and very relaxing, and the spa area is relaxing with an excellent massage. The rooms are clean and decorated with taste, and the staff is extremely friendly and professional. The location is perfect - everything is a few minutes' walk away. Excellent ratio of price and service.

I've only been to the hammam with friends. The experience began even before arriving in Sarajevo, when I sent an email asking for access information, but never received a response. During our vacation, we passed by it, so we went in to ask. The person at reception giving us the information didn't seem very knowledgeable; he explained that the hammam has separate hours for men and women, and then suggested we book a private time—otherwise, we wouldn't have been able to do it because it didn't fit with our other commitments. At the same time, we booked two massages, asking for more information but not receiving an important one: the masseurs are men, even though women use them. When we arrived on the day of the hammam, the receptionist and another man showed up, dressed in the same clothes they used to go out. No attention, no warning, no sign of hygiene or professionalism. We clearly refused the massages. The hammam itself? The facility is not clean or well-maintained, with the same low level of hygiene, all for around €90 for three people for one hour.

HAMMAM REVIEW I'm sorry to leave a negative review; it's not my habit, but the experience was truly disappointing. We had booked a massage and an hour of private hammam (we are two women). Upon arrival, we were greeted by two young men who didn't seem to remember our reservation. Rather abruptly, they suggested we start with the hammam. When we asked to respect the agreed-upon time for the massage, we were seated in the women's massage room, and shortly thereafter, the same two men from reception showed up, still in casual attire—tracksuits and jeans. At that point, we pointed out that we would have preferred to be informed in advance that the massage would be performed by men, especially considering the hammam's separate men's and women's areas. We were told that there were no female masseuses available. We therefore decided not to have the massage. We tried to enjoy the hammam, but the facility seemed sloppy and not particularly clean (I've also attached a photo of the slippers provided). Overall, an unpleasant experience and unprofessional service management.

About the Hamam not the hotel; There is no water cup for shower There is no permission to use water sinks If you wanna use the hamam, you are only allowed to use suana, steam room and the small pool that you see in the pictures. You should rent a service from serviceman if you wanna experience a hamam which costs 40 euro per person.

Centrally located close to the old centers, just three minutes, with beautiful red carpet in the rooms and wood beds. The service is warm and attentive and the breakfasts generous

Ask for Muzghan for your peel! I had a wonderful experience: a traditional Turkish full-body peel, highly recommended! Performed by a very attentive and kind woman: Muzghan. This was followed by a full-body scrub, after which I was washed and massaged with soapy water and lots of foam. The finish was fizzy... with two basins of cold water to rinse off. A must-try if you're passing through Sarajevo!
