Hotel Rila Sofia

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Rila Sofia and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Sofia. The hotel offers excellent value for money especially considering its fantastic location in the heart of the city. One of the biggest advantages is how close it is to everything like many of Sofia’s main tourist attractions are within walking distance and there are plenty of shops, restaurants, cafés and public transport options nearby so it made exploring the city incredibly convenient. The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained providing everything I needed for a pleasant stay and I also found the staff to be friendly, welcoming and helpful whenever I had questions Overall Hotel Rila Sofia is a great choice if you are looking for a clean, comfortable and affordable hotel in an excellent location. The combination of good service, great value and easy access to the city attractions made my stay very enjoyable and I would happily stay here again on my next visit to Sofia

The room is nice, but the bathroom is quite old and needs a renovation. The receptionist was friendly, the lobby area is modern and inviting. The location is quite good.

Very good

The hotel is truly well-located and well-organized, with luxurious rooms (the new ones), and it's undergoing renovations. If I may recommend it, pay the minimal price difference to stay in the luxury suite (I booked directly on-site due to an emergency, and I significantly saved money compared to booking online). My room cost €195 per night online, but I paid €90 on-site, and I could choose between a renovated room or a non-renovated room (as I mentioned before, the hotel is undergoing renovations), for a difference of €15-20 per night, which made for a unique experience (I had an almost entirely glass wall with two balconies).
