My glove you lost while doing a laundry was very important to me, the shirt also.

I booked for 2 nights but had to leave early after the first night because I felt uncomfortable after the receptionist (Dalibar) severely overstepped professional boundaries and sent me flirtatious text messages on Viber stating he couldn't stop thinking about me. I recommend solo female travelers avoid this place

The location is very central, which is great! There are trams and subways nearby, and there are historical sites to see right near the subway station! They have pancakes every Monday, although I didn't get to try them. The counter and kitchen are on the top floor; there's no elevator, so you have to climb four flights of stairs. Check-out is quite convenient; you just go downstairs and drop it off.

Lovely place with a great location. Our host for the night was very helpful with both recommendations, storing of our luggage after check out and whatever else you’d need. Nice kitchen with great opportunities for saving some money on food.

Nice hostel in the very centre of Sofia

I absolutely loved this hostel. I met some really nice people there, and the atmosphere was just like home. A special thank you to the friendly receptionist, Dari! I'll definitely come back again!

**Don't pay attention to the negative reviews, as they do not reflect reality.** When I arrived, I must confess I was a bit hesitant because of the reviews I had read. My initial plan was to stay for only 2 days, but I liked the place so much that I ended up extending my stay and stayed for a whole week! The host was extremely kind, friendly, and helpful from beginning to end; it is nothing like the bad image people paint here. In fact, on several occasions, he had plenty of reasons to be a bit rude, but he remained super polite and patient. If you are hesitating to book this place because of the criticism about him, forget about it and just come! The hostel structure is good has curtains, the room is spacious, the beds are comfortable, and there are lockers for bags. I felt completely safe here; the atmosphere is very welcoming and peaceful. Another strong point is the cleanliness: the bathrooms are constantly cleaned, they are always spotless, and there is an excellent amount of showers and toilets on each floor, so I never had to wait in line. The communal kitchen is very well-equipped (it has everything, including an oven that I personally love it) and well-organized. An amazing bonus is that on Mondays, they make fresh, free waffles for the guests—a nice touch that makes all the difference. The hostel also offers great facilities for a very fair price: they have a coffee machine with hot espresso for only €0.50, towel rentals, and they also have a laundry service available (I didn't use it, but they have it). For those looking to do some sightseeing, it is definitely worth booking excursions directly with them at reception, as the price is great and they give an exclusive discount for guests. Points to mention: lack of elevator and lack of air conditioning. Honestly, it was cold with the window open so I have to close sometimes, it didn't make a difference to me. And the elevator wasn't a problem for me either since I carry backpack. The location is great, it's next to a hot spring where locals fill water jugs for free, as well the supermarket, everything is very close! Love it ! It was an excellent stay with great value for money. I have absolutely nothing to complain about and definitely recommend it! If I came back to Sofia it would be for sure my choice.

Good location Good place only problem is rooms dont have Air conditioner and building has no elevator
