Wake Up Wellness Hostel

The experience in this hostel was not good, would not recommend. The emails that they sent us about check in had wrong information and as a result, it took us a long time to enter in our rooms. When they finally contacted us and we got to the rooms, the smell was terrible, there was hair on our sheets and there was a man in the room making us feel really uncomfortable. Even at day , there was not physical staff there. The location was pretty central though.

Nice & safe place.

You saved me. I checked in at 9 pm. The lady on the phone was very nice. Everything is coded. You will receive it with instructions for accommodation. The space is beautiful. The bathroom and toilet are spacious and on each floor. Functional. The bed is made. Towels are ready. Lockers in the room. Room amenities available. Wifi. Kitchenette on the floor. Clean everywhere. Pecka. If I ever return to Brno, I will visit you again. You are the best shared hostel I have ever been to!

It was a mistake we'll never forget. We booked through Booking.com and got a room that smelled terrible. The blankets smelled awful too. We initially chose this place because it was close to the train station and the city center, making it convenient for travel. However, we were extremely disappointed with the system, cleanliness, and security of this accommodation. In the end, we had to pay and book elsewhere because we couldn't stand the smell anymore.

I apologize to Ms. Gabriela at the front desk for my nerves. I know it's just my problem, but this is the first time I've encountered a situation where there was no reception. I left a flower and chocolates on the table for you. I apologize again.

We have been to the hostel several times before, but this time was definitely the last time. The only plus was the helpful staff on the phone when we were solving a problem with the reservation, which was on my side. But otherwise the cleanliness went downhill rapidly. The waterproofing in the bathroom was torn, there were bulges everywhere, the surface of the tap was also torn. There was no mat under our feet. The main door wouldn't close, the door frame in our room had probably been kicked out, temporarily repaired and because of that the door wouldn't close. The lock battery was dead, but the man came soon to replace the batteries. The room had a strange smell, the sheets were torn, with holes, the TV didn't work, there was a layer of dust under the bed, but the highlight was the dead bugs on the windowsill and around the wall. Not one or two, there were dozens of them. I don't know what kind of bugs they were, we didn't find any crawling ones, but the dead ones didn't add to the impression of the hostel either. A big disappointment. We will never stay here again.

Very disappointed. Noisy location, no staff to greet you, and the place wasn't clean. I went to sleep elsewhere before even entering the room.

All fully booked, no accommodation available

There is no reception personel in the evening. Since the main door access is via a 4 digit passcode the passcode is shared between homeless people (1 pays 4+ use the code) who frequent that location. It is totally unsafe as it is a sleeping-hub for homeless people. Avoid if you care for cleanliness (bedbugs) and safety (weirdos/homeless sleeping next to you).

Be careful, the beds have bedbugs. Stay away.
