My favorite bookstore in Lyon!!! A huge selection of books, both thought-provoking and lighthearted, for learning or escapism. The staff picks section is extensive and well-informed if you're looking for inspiration. The team is lovely, offers great advice, and knows their books inside and out. The place is cozy and welcoming; you immediately feel at home. In short, go there to support independent bookstores, have a great time, and come back with one or more fantastic books! 💜

(I'll try writing in French) During our visit to Lyon, my husband and I found this bookstore indispensable. The selection is vast, even though the bookstore is quite small. Anyone who wants to learn about or read on LGBTQIA+ history and topics can find books here. The booksellers were very patient and helped me find books to read to improve my French and, at the same time, learn more about women's history. On recommendation, I bought the graphic novel version of "Les Grandes Oubliées – Pourquoi l'Histoire a effacé les femmes" by Titiou Lecoq and the graphic novel "Simone de Beauvoir – Je veux tout de la vie" by Julia Korbik and Julia Bernhard. My husband bought "A Man's Place" in English by Annie Ernaux. Finally, I would like to emphasize the importance of bookstores like this one.
