Bears' Den

Nice bar, but we stumbled upon a karaoke night! Bad luck.

I have to say, Bear’s Den is undoubtedly the most welcoming place in Paris when you’re out alone. After frequenting several of the capital’s most well-known gay bars, I always come back here for its friendly and warm atmosphere. In the basement, it’s very easy to strike up a conversation and meet new people. The karaoke encourages interaction and creates a relaxed atmosphere where everyone naturally feels at home. The bar staff is always smiling, attentive, and welcoming. What I particularly appreciate is the diversity of the clientele: you meet people of all ages, from 20 to 70, from all backgrounds and walks of life. French, English, Spanish speakers, regulars, or just passing visitors—everyone mingles in a cosmopolitan and welcoming atmosphere. For me, it’s one of the best bars in Paris, and certainly the most welcoming for those who want to go out alone without ever feeling isolated.

A great place to have a drink, be with friends, make new friends, spend a karaoke night (Thu, Fri, Sun 7pm to 1:30am) or even dance on Saturday nights. If you’re a Bear, a bear lover or have no clue who bears are (👍), you ARE very welcome. Just come, have fun and chill out.

We had a great time. The place is small, it's hot inside, but it's a lot of fun. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended.
