I really enjoy coming to Exile and do so quite often. Whether it's Friday or Saturday night for partying or for events like Bitchy Bingo or Quiz Nights, there's truly something for everyone. The DJs are a good mix: pop, chart hits, and house music are usually the main focus, and the sets are generally well-suited to the predominantly young crowd. They also regularly have 90s or 2000s themed nights, which provide a nice change of pace. The staff is consistently friendly. Both at the bar and at the entrance, you're greeted politely and served well. The drink prices are perfectly reasonable. The restrooms deserve special mention. They're always clean and well-maintained, and unlike in some bars on the street, you don't feel uncomfortable touching anything here. Anyone who gives this place only one star after a single bad night should perhaps consider a more comprehensive view. Overall, Exile offers a truly great and reliable night out.

Unfortunately, very disappointing. The music is okay, but the staff is rather rude, and it gets very crowded – no one seems to be in charge, as long as you pay the €8 entrance fee. Eventually, it becomes impossible to dance. At the bar, you're simply ripped off – either the bill is calculated incorrectly, or the bartender arbitrarily sets and confirms the tip. If you politely ask to start over or have everything checked, you're met with an unfriendly dismissal: "Oh, you're annoying."

Friendly staff, everything was perfect. We'd be happy to come back anytime.

I came there many years after livingin Köln. I stood by the bar, the barman saw me straight away as he kept looking at me. He served a few people who waited before me. Then ge started serving people who just came to the bar. I waved saying that I came earlier and if he just could serve me one Kölsch. He paid attention but kept serving new people who were just coming to the bar. A new barman came, he also served people who came after me. I asked why is the other barman ignoring me on purpose. He was just telling me to calm down, talked to the other barman, they both kept rolling their eyes out and kept serving everyone else who just came to the bar. Eventually, the first barman served me and handed over the card machine with 15% tip on it!!! I said, he's not getting any tip! Then he removed it. I asked what was wrong with him and he yelled at me that "he was on his own" and i saw other people at the bar. Disgusting service, staff is rude and scam people, they are incompetent and unprofessional and yell at customers for their own incompetence. Seriously unbelievable, unpleasant, nasty, disgusting attitude
