Sunrise Dortmund

So...what can I say? I'd had my eye on it for a while and decided to check it out, and I have to say I really liked it. The staff at Sunrise are all incredibly friendly, and they showed me around on my first visit. There's a kitchen, stickers, a Switch, and a TV—basically everything you could need. The other people you meet there are also very friendly, and you can stay anytime from 4 pm to 8 pm. They also have different special offers from time to time, and I really enjoy going there and would definitely recommend it to other queer youth.

A queer youth center! What more could you want? Community, friendly staff, a regular program and workshops. A super-duper great pink kitchen, cozy corners, and much more! Sunrise also offers counseling and support for parents of queer youth, as well as information for interested professionals. All in all: an indispensable queer youth center that leaves nothing to be desired—quite the opposite! Highly recommended for anyone aged 13 to 23.

A really great place to meet, especially busy on Fridays, the staff are super friendly and new people are quickly integrated and involved. I've been going semi-regularly for about a year.
