Joe's Dark and Playrooms

It's pretty run-down now, not worth it anymore!

Unfortunately, there was hardly anything going on the evening I was there.

Awesome location, but not much going on! But now that it's getting warmer again, that could change... so go and have some fun!!!

Here you can spend a lovely few hours as a couple or in a group. It's always a pleasant experience at Joe's 👍🍀 Over the years, new connections have been made, and overall it's always enjoyable. The team contributes to making it such a great experience. ☯️ Good club

Well, what can you say? 😅 It's just a darkroom, the staff is quite nice. :) That's all I can say. First and last time there (it's not my area of ​​expertise) :)

One could forgive the fact that it was almost empty on a Saturday night, but the nerve to organise an "underwear" party and not putting any significant heating on, resulting in the place being freezing cold on top of being boring, is unforgivable.

There weren't many people, and they were mostly older, but you could still find some nice ones.

I haven't been there for a few weeks now. Over the last three years, it's been noticeable that the place isn't run the same way as it was three years ago. For example, at the last two Christopher Street Day (CSD) events, there were no Joe's employees present to promote the restaurant. I was told that due to staff shortages, this wasn't possible. In May, another customer told me that Joe's had supposedly filed for bankruptcy. Unfortunately, I couldn't find out if there was any truth to this. I can't really understand the criticism of the staff, especially the employee with the dog. I can only say that they are always very, very nice and also very tolerant. Without your team, I couldn't feel so comfortable. Furthermore, Joe's is very clean. Compared to another location at Steintor, the staff at Joe's clearly put a lot of effort into keeping the place clean. There's not much to say about the food. They offer small snacks at various events, but that's about it. However, it's perfectly adequate considering that you're looking for a place like this. If you have a day ticket and can go in and out at any time, you can also get something to eat in the immediate vicinity.

Where it's great, all that's missing is a playground. The only thing missing is a lockable area. Otherwise, everything is super clean, the staff is friendly, and you'll find what you're looking for.

For a darkroom, this was pretty much a flop. I paid the entrance fee and was the only guest. The coffee was expensive and not worth the money. The server was quite unfriendly and more preoccupied with himself and his dog than with attending to a customer.
