Stargayte Sauna

My partner and I had a nice time! We ended up with an extra day in Leipzig and this was perfect for relaxation before our 18 hour flight home. Pricing was very reasonable. Entire place is very clean. I didn't like the steam room too much, but that is only because I am already blind as a bat and didn't have my glasses on... a little autistic overload, lol. Great place and staff!!

at first the hallways in de sauna area felt colder then I'm used to from a sauna. same with the water of the bubble bath. I got confused with the messages on the wall everywhere but after visiting the steam room and finding out there is a second floor I felt that it was great that the hallways and the bubble bath water, is not so warm. and the messages on the walls didn't distract any longer! this is a awesome lgbt+ sauna!

Good but not excellent. Pros 👍: -Large and well kept wellness area. -Very large facility. -Very clean. -Friendly staff. -Lots of free private rooms. -Free 'pass' to return later in the day. Cons 👎: -Charges for a towel?! (I have never experienced this at *any* sauna anywhere!!). -Charges for 'gel' (again, not standard in other places). -Very expensive considering not even a towel is included in the price, nor gel or sandals (which are mandatory). -Clientele a bit rude (not as good atmosphere as other German saunas). -Two days a week are 'mixed' (women are allowed) and two days are closed, leaving only 3 days a week as a true 'sauna'.

I do not understand the negative reviews......I visited today just 30 minutes after opening time. The guy on reception was very helpful and explained the charges. The establishment is very large but was very clean and the facilities were excellent. Yes, it may be a little more expensive than other saunas, but I would argue that you get value for money..it became very busy so lots of guys to have fun with. Thank you Stargayte...see you on my next visit to Leipzig.

Big facility i like it. I went Saturday night but not so much customer just some old guys i dont know why but maybe just happened that no customer that day. But still a good sauna to visit.
