Monnem Pride (CSD Mannheim)

Monnem Pride is Mannheim's Christopher Street Day, organised by the nonprofit Monnem Pride e.V. (formerly CSD Rhein-Neckar). It takes place on a Saturday in July: a demonstration through the city centre in the early afternoon, followed by a rally and street festival on the Alter Meßplatz in the Neckarstadt. Patrons in 2026 were Mayor Thorsten Riehle and his husband.

In 2026 it ran on Saturday 11 July under the motto "Zusammen Eins", starting at 13:00 on the Augustaanlage near the Wasserturm and crossing the Kurpfalzbrücke to the Alter Meßplatz. In 2025 (12 July) the march started from the Schafweide. Local press puts it at several thousand marchers, and organisers expect around 12,000 across the day. The CSD weekend usually also has a GAYWERK party at the MS Connexion Complex. The 2027 date had not been announced at the time of writing; check monnempride.de.
