Excellent city hotel — modern, spotless, with comfortable rooms, a delicious breakfast, and a lovely patio area. The real gems, however, are the staff members: receptionists Katerina and Maria, waitresses Eva and Ariadna, and cleaning lady Flora. True professionals who made my stay even more memorable. Highly recommended!

Rooms were clean and modern with balcony and interesting view of the street and domes. Quiet, considering the central location. Staff lovely and really helpful with planning transport and restaurants. Had some really nice chats with the lady behind the bar. Heraklion is actually nicer to visit than most people say.

Dimargio Hotel & Spa is a fantastic choice for anyone staying in the heart of Heraklion. The surrounding area is vibrant and full of character, with plenty of excellent restaurants and bars nearby that stay open late, giving the location a great atmosphere without ever feeling overwhelming. The hotel is also conveniently located less than 15 minutes from the airport, making arrivals and departures straightforward and stress-free. Despite being so central, the property itself is set within a pedestrianised zone, which means there is no traffic noise - a real advantage for a peaceful and comfortable stay. The hotel is clean, modern, and well presented throughout. The rooms are particularly impressive - spacious, minimal in design, bright, and highly functional, offering everything you need without feeling cluttered. Where Dimargio truly stands out, however, is its staff. Every member of the team is friendly, welcoming, and genuinely committed to providing excellent service. George deserves a special mention - he went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, including arranging an early breakfast for us before our departure. The breakfast itself was outstanding, with a wide and high-quality selection. Overall, I would wholeheartedly recommend Dimargio Hotel & Spa. It delivers on location, comfort, and most importantly, exceptional service.

We stayed five days at Dimargio Hotel and experienced truly outstanding hospitality. Every team member—from reception (Maria, Vasilis, Katherina) to breakfast (Yorgos, Aria, Eva), bar (Johanna), kitchen (Chef Andreas), and housekeeping (Vaso, Flora, Johanna)—was incredibly warm, professional, and attentive. The hotel is beautifully designed, very tastefully decorated, and perfectly located. The rooms are elegant and extremely comfortable—the beds feel like sleeping on clouds. What makes this place truly special is the people: you feel welcomed like coming home. Highly recommended—we will definitely return.

A fabulous small 5 star hotel which is difficult to find nowadays.The personnel was very kind.They upgraded our room free of charge although I was on a business trip and my visit was for one night. The room was very nice,clean and with all the accessories needed even with steam ironing on the spot. The breakfast was fantastic and fresh. I would highly recommend this hotel either for business or vacation as it is in the centre of Heraklion.i will for sure chose this hotel when i will be in Heraklion again.

Nice location in the center of Heraklion. Impeccable service, very kind staff. Very clean and nice rooms. The bed mattress is amazing. The breakfast is very tasty and high quality.

Wonderful hotel, new, spotlessly clean, attentive to every detail (see the steam iron in the wardrobe). The bed was incredibly comfortable! The staff was very kind. I highly recommend it! Thank you very much for the free upgrade to a room with a balcony.
