Pride of the Déise

Pride of the Déise (Bród na nDéise) is the volunteer committee behind Waterford's Pride festival. It was founded in 2019, held its first festival online in 2020, and now runs a programme of about ten days each year in late May and June, funded in part by Waterford City and County Council's festival grant scheme. The 2026 festival ran from 27 May to 6 June and included the seventh annual march and block party. There's no drop-in centre or public office. Contact is through prideofthedeise.com and its social media, which is also where volunteer calls and next year's dates appear.
