Osteria Gentile Napoli

We'd been thinking about going for dinner for a while, and finally, tonight we decided. The place is welcoming and, above all, incredibly clean. We decided to each order a few items and try a little bit of everything. We were really impressed by the creativity in creating dishes. One of the things that left us speechless, as simple as it may seem, was the combination of popcorn and fried calamari. The breaded sea bass with tarallo was definitely a must-try! It was all delicious, with excellent flavor and, above all, fresh! I recommend the dessert, the zupp e latte. I split it because I was bursting; the portions are generous! The staff was extremely polite, but also very friendly, sociable, and truly nice. We even had a fun moment with the gentleman playing the accordion, and we broke out in song. It's an experience we'll definitely repeat. Ultimately, I expected a rightfully higher bill for the quantity and quality of the food, and I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices. A little gem in Naples. 🇮🇹♥️ We found this restaurant while browsing Google Maps. We ordered our usual caprese salad. It was incredible! Such a nice change from the usual! For our main courses, we ordered pasta: white bolognese and caccio e pepe with prawns. My partner and I were both delighted with our respective dishes. The white bolognese was very original, using yellow tomatoes instead of red, giving it a unique flavor and a pleasant sweet and savory touch. The waiter was alone that evening, and despite the crowd, he was incredibly efficient! Kudos to him. We highly recommend this place!

An amazing experience and absolutely delicious food. It’s easy to fall into tourist traps in Naples, but this place is the exact opposite. A restaurant full of locals, with food that is fresh, beautifully presented, and incredible. Excellent, personalized service and very reasonable prices. If I were in Naples, I wouldn't think twice about visiting here at least once. We came with the kids and the staff were patient and sweet—even when the kids fell asleep, they watched over them near the entrance so we could eat in peace. I highly recommend coming here!

An amazing place in Naples! 🇮🇹❤️ During our trip to Naples, we stumbled upon a restaurant run by two brothers—and honestly, we loved it so much that we returned three times! 😍 From our first visit, we were captivated not only by the cuisine, but above all by the atmosphere, hospitality, and the immense love the brothers put into this place. The food was always delicious, fresh, and full of true Italian flavor. 🇮🇹🍝 It's places like this that make a trip memorable—no artificial pomp, but with a wonderful atmosphere, great food, and people you'll want to come back to. Original cuisine with beautiful presentation. We trusted the chefs and opted for the 7-course surf and turf (savory) menu. The value for money is unbeatable, and the service is very friendly. One small drawback: the portions are VERY generous; it's hard to finish all the dishes, and sometimes a little too salty. But the experience is well worth it. Thank you to the whole team for the warm welcome.
