Parco del Colle Oppio (Cruising)

Parco del Colle Oppio, the hillside park overlooking the Colosseum, is one of Rome's long-established outdoor cruising areas. Activity concentrates in the quieter, wooded sections after dark. As with any public space, discretion is sensible: stay aware of your surroundings, keep valuables out of sight, and note that police patrols pass through. It is very central, a few minutes on foot from the Colosseo metro and Gay Street.
