Google said this was best restaurant in triest and it was remarkable. Perfect food and good value wine.

I dined at Madreperla Bistrot and was truly satisfied with the experience. The restaurant is elegant, meticulously crafted, and offers a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for enjoying an excellent seafood dinner. The quality of the ingredients is evident from the first bite. The fish is fresh, well-prepared, and enhanced by preparations that enhance its flavor without overpowering it. The staff was extremely kind, professional, and helpful, always ready to offer advice and ensure attentive, yet never intrusive, service. Overall, Madreperla Bistrot is an excellent choice for seafood lovers seeking a quality dining experience. Excellent cuisine, a refined atmosphere, and impeccable service make this restaurant a place I recommend without hesitation. It will be a pleasure to return to discover other specialties on the menu.

I dined at this restaurant, nestled in an alleyway off Via Cavana, not far from Piazza Unità di Italia. It's a small, elegant, and quiet place, perfect for seafood and traditional Trieste dishes. The staff is friendly and professional, and the wait time is reasonable. But it's the quality of the food that truly stands out: dishes excellent both in presentation and tasting. I had a fish main course (sea bass cooked with its skin on a bed of spinach, creamed Jerusalem artichoke, and puntarelle salad), a dessert (almond dacquoise with white chocolate mousse, mango and passion fruit toffee sauce), and a glass of Friulian white wine. Final bill (1 person): €44. Prices are high, but absolutely in line with the quality of the products. Highly recommended!

absolutely lovely little place with creative twists and quick service. never expected mackerel to surprise me so pleasantly:) smoked oysters - yes! scampi carbonara was a very interesting idea but imo could be improved (rn scampi get a bit lost). will definitely return next time in Trieste

A modern bistro experience that was perfect from start to finish. The service was friendly and not fussy. There were a lot of vegan options, some of which we had, which were just as good as the non-vegan dishes. A lot of love and creativity went into this menu, which shows. Would love to come back here!
